Well, there are several, there are Absurdle, Squirdle, among others. The day we will talk about Scientific Wordle, how to play it, where to play it and the best word to start with. Since the launch of Wordle at the end of the last decade the world has changed a lot. But games like Wordle and its derivatives continue to gather a large number of followers. And it is not for less, the game proposes a light challenge but that demands intelligence and insight. Sudoku and crossword puzzles already existed, but Wordle is different, it still requires a good vocabulary but offers much shorter game sessions. This can be important to obtain a more complete experience in the short time that we have or that we decide to dedicate to it.
But back to the case, let's talk about scientific Wordle.
What is Scientific Wordle and how is it played?
Well, it is a very simple concept to understand if you already know Wordle. Wordle is that guess a five letter word. You have 6 attempts to guess the word, and in each attempt you will get clues according to the word you give. Scientific wordle is practically the same, but they appear Scientific terms, there may be last names, first names and some English words.
For example, imagine that the word to guess is "degree", usually this target is called "wordle". Your first try could be "radio" (which is a very good first try, but we'll see the best words to start with later). The clues consist in that the game will point to the letters that match between your word and the wordle.
Each letter of the word radio will be drawn in a color depending on whether it matches in the wordle or not. The colors make up the clues, and they work as follows:
- Green – Exact match. The letter that is painted in this color is in the wordle (in the same position)
- Yellow – Inexact match. The letter is in the wordle but in another position.
- Gray – Error. The letter is not found in the wordle to discover.

Examples on how to play Wordle (scientist)
Let's continue with the previous example, we have «degree» as wordle, we start with «radio», and it ends up like this.
In this case we would be quite lucky, since we discovered a good part of the word. Every hint is useful, the yellow ones should continue to be used in other positions, the gray ones should be avoided and the green ones you can stop putting them in order to try more letters before actually trying to find the word.
In this case we had a single missing letter, to reach it we must write new words that occupy more letters, receive more clues and get closer to the possible solution.
After putting the word “radio”, it is usually a good idea to try another one that covers the other vowels, for example: “nubes”. In this case, all the letters would appear grey, but at least you will be able to notice that the wordle does not have more vowels, and does not have the consonants "n", "b" and "s".
What is the best word to put in Scientific Wordle?
The most successful strategy is usually to cover all possible vowels quickly. Some very good words can be:
- Radio
- Sour
- Atrio
- Various
- Ship (ship)
With these words you occupy the vowels “a”, “i” and “o” quickly; It would be advisable to then search for words with "u" and "e", for example: "nubes", "subes", "urbes", "cubre", etc.
You can also start with other words like:
- Hiena
- Egg
- New
- Low
- Ice
And there are many more of the style, just make sure the following:
- Plan from the beginning the first two words, trying to put the 5 vowels.
- The fact that letters are not repeated in the same word, and even better if letters are not repeated in the first 2 words, or repeat 1 maximum.
- On the third try you should know all the vowels in the word and some consonants, it's time to try to guess!
Let me show you an example of what a wordle that is done with strategy would look like.
In this case it is an English wordle, but it is basically the same, the main difference is that in English you have to take into account the "y" almost as much as any other vowel. In summary, you can see that I found the solution relatively easy, following the strategy that I mentioned to you.
- Until the 2nd try I hadn't had much luck, but I knew that on the 3rd try had to try 3 letters in different places ("a", "o" y "n") in addition to the "y".
- The 3rd attempt went quite well, and provided very valuable data. Although it seems that I confirmed the position of 2 letters, I confirmed the position of 4. Let me explain.

- He had tried the "n" in two different positions and it had turned yellow. Those are two positions that are ruled out, we can also rule out the positions of "a" and "y"; finally there is only one place to put it.
